Local people
We are modest group of neighborhood folks in Plattsburgh, NY. We turn our convictions into FUNctions (fun actions). We have fun doing this! And its SUPER important for the Adirondacks!
This is what we accept
- LCD Monitors (not scratched or broken)
- Computers (not stripped)
- Laptops (not stripped)
- Servers (not stripped)
- Keyboards with wire
- Mice with wire
We see a need for new energy to support e-waste recycling in our community. We have formed this club to provide sensible solutions. If you have other items to recycle, please check with us first :)
This is how we handle it
We use pallets that we repair from local shippers. The boxes we load them with and use organizing in shop are on their 2nd and 3rd life. With support from host shop Total Computer Supplies, a footprint exists to separate, categorize, document, and redirect ewaste to appropriate destinations that do not include landfills.
